2026 Girls Volleyball Schedule

The Varsity defeated Franklin Central 4-1 in their season opener on Saturday. Ella Stone had 8 kills and 3 blocks, Sarah Clarkston 9 kills and 5 blocks, Emilie Zapp with 38 assists, 7 digs and 1 ace.
Stellar student section for a Saturday match, thanks for the support. The next home match is Wednesday vs Carmel.

The Lady Royal lost a tough five set battle to Lawrence North. 16-25, 25-20, 25-20, 17-25, 14-16. Rosanna Spearing had 12 kills and 11 digs. Nora Smith had 16 digs and 2 aces. Emilie Zapp had 39 assists and 16 digs. Norah Bell had 3 aces and 9 digs.

The Lady Royals won a 5 set battle over Carmel 25-21, 22-25, 25-12, 21-25, 15-12.  Ella Stone led the way with 14 kills and 7 blocks.  Nora Smith had 17 digs, 6 assists, and 1 ace.  Emilie Zapp had 36 assists and 14 digs.

The Lady Royals move to 3-1 with a sweep of the Bulldogs 25-21, 25-18, 25-23. Ella Stone had 3 blocks, breaking the school record for career total blocks with a total of 261 and counting! Ella also had 8 kills for the night, Ava Stone had 6 kills and 3 blocks, and Rosanna Spearing had 13 kills. The Lady Royals travel to the Yorktown tournament Saturday.

The varsity Lady Royals went 2-2 over the weekend. They defeated Ft. Wayne Concordia in straight sets and Zionsville in 3. They lost to Yorktown and McCutcheon. Rosanna Spearing had 29 kills and 21 digs on the day. Leah Christie added 28 kills and 32 digs. Ella Stone had 19 kills and 10 blocks. Nora Smith led with 42 digs and 15 assists.

The Lady Royals won a hard fought five set battle over Cathedral 18-25, 25-14, 21-25, 25-19, 15-7. Leah Christie had a double double with 17 kills (hitting .325) and 21 digs. Ella Stone had 10 kills and 9 blocks. Emi Zapp had 44 assists, 10 digs, and 4 kills. They play tonight at home vs Guerin Catholic.

The varsity volleyball team went 2-2 this weekend at the Providence invitational. They started off strong, beating Silver Creek and Brownstown then fell short to top ranked Providence and Center Grove. Tonight is CYO night taking on Center Grove. It is a triple header with Freshman at 5pm, JV 6pm and Varsity around 7:30pm. See you in the stands Royals!!

The Royals lost to Center Grove 24-26, 21-25, 18-25. Stella Kessenich had 6 kills, 4 blocks, and 2 aces. They play @ Martinsville on Thursday.

The Royals beat Lawrence North 25-16 25-18. Maddy Daeger ended the night with 22 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 digs. Olivia Olsheske contributed 6 digs.

The Royals lost a hard fought battle in 3 to Carmel 25-22, 20-25,13-15.  Aubree Lauck led the team with 12 kills and 6 digs. Nora Stafford had 10 kills and 3 digs.

The JV Royals played in the McCutcheon Invitational Tournament this weekend. In the morning they beat Southwood 25-14, 25-14. They came up short in the second game against Noblesville in 3 sets 24-26, 25-13, 13-15. The Royals went on to win the silver bracket in the afternoon. Beating McCutcheon 25-10, 25-17 and North Central 25-15, 25-10. Maddy Daegar led with 14 aces, 100 assists, 9 digs and 3 kills. Mallory Stahley added 3 aces, 2 kills and 14 digs. Lucy LeBeau contributed 15 kills and 3 digs. Lucy Stahley had 1 ace, 9 kills and 2 assists.

The Royals beat the Bulldogs 27-25 25-8. Nora Stafford led the team with 12 kills. Lucy LeBeau added 8 kills, 2 digs, and 1 block. Maddy Daeger ended the night with 28 assists and 1 ace.

The JV Royals beat the Irish 25-23, 25-14. Callie Stephenson had 10 digs and 3 assists. Lucy Stahley added 11 kills.

The Royals beat Martinsville 26-6 25-15. It was a great team win. They finished the night with 24 kills, 11 aces, 15 digs, and 5 blocks.

The Freshman Royals lost a hard fought game in 3 to Carmel 25-20, 22-25 12-15. Annabelle Hall and Lucy Stahley had 12 kills each. Emma Patrick led the team in digs with 15.

The Freshman girls volleyball team played in the FR Marion County tournament. They defeated Franklin Central 25-12, 25-17; Pike 25-12, 25-16; and Perry 25-10, 25-20. They lost in the championship to Brebeuf Jesuit 22-25, 24-26. Emma Patrick led the team in digs with 22 for the day.
Brynn Berry contributed 3 blocks and 10 kills and Hannah Reilly added 9 aces.

The freshman Royals lost 22-25, 21-25. Annabelle Hall had 9 kills, Emma Patrick had 12 digs, and Addie Schembra added 7 digs and 2 aces.
