The Varsity boys won at Perry Meridian, 52-32. The Royals were led in scoring by Drew Kegerreis with 22 points. Joe Taylor added 10 points and 9 rebounds. Noah Schmaltz was a stat sheet stuffer with 8 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists.

The varsity boys went to Beech Grove and completed the SWEEP of the Hornets. The Royals assisted on 19 of their 22 made field goals and made 12 3s. Joe Taylor led the team with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Drew Kegerreis had 13 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists. Noah Schmaltz added 12 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds while going 4-4 from behind the three point line. The 3-1 Royals play their first conference game at Guerin on Friday night.

The varsity boys beat Pendleton Heights 66-56 in the first game of the Batesville Holiday Tournament. Drew Kegerreis led the team with 31 points. Drew went 10-12 from the field including 7-8 from 3 and 4-4 from the FT line. Luke Greene added 14 points. Noah Schmaltz chipped in 9.
In the championship game, the Royals defeated Columbus North. Drew Kegerreis led the team with 34 points. Drew hit 8 3s in this game. Joe Taylor and Luke Greene each added 8 points. Joe Taylor also led the team with 9 rebounds.

The varsity boys lost 53-40 to Franklin Central. Joe Taylor led the team in scoring with 14 points and Luke Greene added 9. The boys begin county tournament play on Tuesday at Speedway High School.

The varsity boys beat Greenwood 56-40. The Royals had great balance with three in double figures. Luke Greene had 15, Noah Schmaltz had 14 and Joe Taylor rounded out the double figure scoring with 10. Senior, Drew Kegerreis, had a team high 6 assists.

On Saturday night the boys basketball team lost to Ben Davis. Drew Kegerreis led the team in scoring with 11. Drew is also the new school record holder for three pointers made in a season with 71. The varsity boys ended the season with a 15-10 record.
