The Varsity boys got their third win of the season Saturday afternoon with a 71-59 win over Shortridge. The Royals had four in double figures with Conner Kesler again leading the team in scoring with 18 points. Joe Taylor added 15 points and 6 rebounds. Noah Schmaltz and Will Hegwood each added 10 points. Hegwood added 7 assists.

The Varsity Royals traveled to Batesville for two games. In the first game they got a win over Columbus North 59-32. Conner Kesler led the team in scoring with 15 points. Luke Feldman and Joe Taylor each added 11.
The Royals leave Batesville with an 8-1 record after losing a highly contested game to Mt Vernon, 52-40. Conner Kesler leads the team in scoring with 13. Joe Taylor added 10 and 7 rebounds.
Noah Schmaltz had 11 assists on the day.

The Varsity boys avenged an earlier loss to Franklin Central with a win in the first round of the Marion County tournament, 62-59. The boys were down 50-40 early in the 4th quarter but out scored the Flashes 22-9 the rest of the way. The Royals had 4 in double figures; Conner Kesler led the team with 25 points, 21 in the 3rd quarter. Joe Taylor had 12 and 8 rebounds, Luke Greene had 11 and Will Hegwood with 10.
