THE SPIRIT OF RONCALLI

Roncalli cheerleaders are looking forward to an exciting season for all athletics and activities! This year’s program consists of 38 girls. There are 14 varsity, 14 junior varsity and 10 freshmen cheerleaders. Tryouts for the current squads were held in October. The cheerleaders practice at least three times a week to prepare for the winter season. The mission of the Roncalli Cheer Program is to promote school spirit and school advocacy in the dignity and likeliness of Saint John XXIII. They uphold the pride and tradition of what it means to be a Royal. The cheerleaders’ goal this year is to unify the student body, alumni and fans in being ambassadors of our athletic teams, events, appearances and programs. They actively participate in community projects, fundraisers and school events, and serve the school community as positive examples and representatives of Roncalli High School. Let’s all cheer together to make it an amazing season at RHS!
