2024-2025 Gymnastics Schedule

The Royals Gymnastics team had a great opening meet breaking 100 out of the gate. All Roncalli gymnasts had a solid night.
Team scores: Roncalli 100.275, Westfield 98.025, Morristown 72.875
Individual results:
Elaina Shutta – 2nd (tie) vault, 2nd bars, 4th floor and 2nd all around
Emiko Vecchio – 3rd vault, 3rd bars, 2nd beam and 3rd all around
Lucy Perry – 5th vault, 6th bars, 4th beam, 1st floor and 5th all around
Ava Price – 4th vault
The team is looking forward to the Franklin Central Invitational this Saturday.

The Royals gymnastics team finished 6th place out of 17 teams in the Franklin Central Invite trailing Angola (108.125), New Palestine (106.250), Bloomington North (104.35), Bloomington South (100.125) and West Lafayette (99.425). Leading the Royals in all around – Emiko Vecchio and Elaina Shutta.

The Royals gymnastics team (97.9) finished second in their Tri-meet with Bloomington North (104.75) and Columbus East (89.45).

Individual placements:
Elaina Shutta – 4th on beam, 6th on floor and 4th all around
Ava Price – 5th on beam, 5th on vault and 5th all around
Miley Lemus – 6th on vault and 6th all around
Claire May – 5th on bars

The gymnastics team fell short 104.9 -100.9 to a tough New Palestine team. Individuals from Pendleton and Kokomo also participated.

Emiko Vecchio – 3rd on vault, 6th on bars, 3rd on beam and 4th all around
Ava Price – 4th on vault
Miley Lemus – 5th on vault, 5th on floor
Elaina Shutta – 5th on vault, 5th on bars, 5th all around
Lucy Perry – 4th on bars, 3rd on floor, 6th all around
The team heads to Shelbyville this weekend.

The Royals came out on top (99.2) against Shelbyville (88.425) and Westfield (97.95).

Emiko Vecchio – 3rd on bars, 5th on beam, 2nd on floor and 3rd all around

The Royals lost to a tough Columbus North team 105.175 – 99.975.
JV individual placements:
Cicily Borders – 2nd on vault, 4th on bars, 3rd on beam, 3rd on floor and 2nd All Around.
Bridget Lehner – 5th on vault, 5th on bars, 5th on beam, 1st on floor and 3rd All Around.

Varsity individual placements:
Claire May – 3rd on bars, 6th All Around
Elaina Shutta – 4th on beam
Miley Lemus – 3rd on floor
Emiko Vecchio – 5th on floor

The team will head to Connersville this weekend for an invitational.

The Royals placed 4th out of 8 falling behind Columbus North (110.425), Bloomington South (101.25) and Connersville (100.85) with a team score of 100.475 at the Connersville Invite.
Individual placements:
Claire May – 7th on bars, 7th on beam
Emiko Vecchio – 5th on beam, 7th all around

The Royals finished off their regular season with a win against Franklin Central.

Individual placements:
Elaina Shutta – 6th vault, 3rd floor, 3rd bars, 2nd beam and 4th all around
Emiko Vecchio – 2nd vault, 4th bars, 1st beam, 2nd floor, 2nd all around.
Claire May – 4th on vault, 2nd bars, 3rd beam, 6th floor and 3rd all around
Cicily Borders – 5th on vault, 6th beam, 8th bars, 8th all around
Ava Price – 3rd vault, 5th bars, 5th beam, 4th floor
Miley Lemus – 4th vault, 8th floor

The Royals will be preparing this upcoming week for Sectionals!

The Royals gymnastics team placed 3rd with a season high of 102.95 to advance to Regionals.
Individual Emiko Vecchio also placed 5th on beam and 6th all around!
The team had a solid finish and looks forward to preparing for Regionals, which will take place Friday at The Gymnastics Company.

The Royals finished 4th as a team in a tough Regional falling behind Columbus North, New Palestine and Bloomington North.

Freshman, Emiko Vecchio, placed 4th on beam making her a state qualifier. She missed all around by one place. Such a great accomplishment!

She will continue her season at Ball State next Saturday.
