The varsity boys lacrosse team started out the season against Fishers with a 13-6 loss. Daniel Rosario had 2 goals and 2 assists, Rufus Parrott had 2 goals and 1 assist, Brendan Marack had 1 goal, senior Gavin Poteet had 1 goal and senior Will Kaul had 1 assist. Goalie Andrew Cole had a 43% save rate.

The Royals lost to #1 South Bend Adams 7-3. Wil Kaul had 1 goal and 2 assists, Rufus Parrott had 1 goal and Daniel Rosario had 1 goal. Andrew Cole had a 56% save rate.

The Royals fell short against Evansville Reitz 8-7. Rufus Parrott had 5 goals and 1 assists, Wil Kaul had 2 goals and Daniel Rosario had 2 assists. Andrew Cole had a 50% save rate. The Royals open conference play on Thursday against Bishop Chatard.

Boys varsity lacrosse lost to Heritage Christian 16-8. The Royals held the state runner ups to 2 goals the whole game but missed the mark after a 6 goal run late in the 4th quarter. Rufus Parrot had 4 goals and 1 assist, Daniel Rosario had 3 goals, Gavin Poteet had 1 goal and 2 assists, Tommy Och, Brendan Marack, and Wil Kaul all had assists as well. Nate Love had 4 forced turnovers and Andrew Cole had a 43% save percentage.

Boys varsity lacrosse lost to Guerin Catholic 23-4 on Saturday. Rufus Parrott had 2 goals and 1 assist, Wil Kaul had 1 goal and 1 assist, Daniel Rosario had 1 goal and Gavin Poteet had 1 assist.

The Royals beat the Bloomington South Panthers 18-10. Roncalli dominated both sides of the ball. Rufus Parrot had 7 goals and 3 assists. Wil Kaul had 4 goals and 5 assists and broke 100 career points. Daniel Rosario had 5 goals, Brendan Marack had 1 goal, and Tommy Och had 1 goal and 1 assist. Matt Steckman was 50% save rate. Gavin Dulworth won 18 face offs and the Royal defense caused 12 turnovers.

Boys lacrosse battled hard but ultimately fell short against the number 5 Bishop Chatard Trojans 13-11. Boys lacrosse lost to Avon 17-12. Rufus Parrott had 8 goals, Wil Kaul had 2 goals, 2 assists, Brendan Marack had 1 goal and 3 assists, Daniel Rosario had 1 goal and 2 assists and Gavin Poteet had 2 assists and Tommy Och had 1 assist.

Roncalli shutout Southport 13-0 to win the Mayor’s Cup for the 3rd year straight. Alex Parrott had 3 goals and 3 assists,Wil Kaul had 3 goals and 1 assist, Tommy Och had 3 goals, Daniel Rosario had 2 goals, Gavin Poteet had 1 goal and 2 assists, and Jon Coffman had 1 goal. Matt Steckman held the Cardinals scoreless for a perfect shutout game!

The Royals lost to Bishop Dwenger 15-5. Wil Kaul had 3 goals 1 assist, Brendan Marack had 2 goals, and Tommy Och had 1 goal. Matt Steckman kept the Royals in the game with 21 saves for a 58% save rate!

Roncalli dominated Perry Meridian 16-5. Wil Kaul had 6 goals, Daniel Rosario had 5 goals and 1 assist, Brendan Marack had 3 goals and 1 assist, Trevor Kaufman had 1 goal, Nate Love had 1 goal, Gavin Poteet had 3 assists, Tommy Och had 1 assist and Jack Vavra had 1 assist.

The Varsity Royals took on East Side at home last night and came away with a 9-5 win. Wil Kaul had 3 goals and 2 assists, Tommy Och had 2 goals, Daniel Rosario had 2 goals, Brendan Marack had 1 goal and Trevor Kaufman had 1 goal. Goalie Matt Steckman had a 58% save rate.

Boys lacrosse hosted Bloomington North and lost 14-7.

The boys lacrosse team defeated Leo 13-10.  Daniel Rosario had 5 goals and 1 assist, Wil Kaul had 4 goals and 3 assists, Tommy Och had 3 goals and 1 assist, Justin Anciso had 1 goal and Trevor Kaufman had 1 assist. Andrew Cole had a 55% save rate.

The Royals won over Park Tutor 15-7 with 4 different players having hat tricks! Daniel Rosario led the Royals with 5 goals. Wil Kaul had 3 goals and 2 assists Tommy Och and Alex Parrott both had 3 goals and 1 assist. Nate Love had 1 goal and 10 caused turnovers. Jon Coffman had one assist.

Last night, JV lacrosse lost to Carmel. Highlights of the game were: Matt Steckman had 8 saves, Gavin Dulworth won 15 faceoffs, and Tommy Och had 10 ground balls.

The Royals picked up a win against Southport 5-3. Trevor Kaufman had 2 goals and 1 assist. Angel Cruz, Ben McGaha, Gavin Dulworth, had 1 goal each. Joey McCoy and Jack Vavra each had an assist. Eli Kulenkamp had 5 saves for a 63% save rate!

The JV boys lacrosse team lost to Columbus. One goal each was scored by Gavin Dulworth and Jon Coffman.

The JV team took on the Whiteland Warriors and were victorious 4-2.

Jack Vavra led the team with 2 goals, Trevor Kaufman had 1 goal unassisted, Gavin Dulworth had 1 goal and one assist.

Sam Dressman led the defense with multiple caused turnovers and 8 ground balls. Matt Steckman had a 100% save rate, Eli Kulenkamp had 40%.

The JV team took on the Brebeuf Braves, losing 18-0. Sam Dressman lead the defense with multiple caused turnovers and 8 ground balls. Matt Steckman had 7 saves in goal.
