Sports Medicine Specialist
Dr. Jenna Walls is one of many sports medicine physicians with Franciscan Physician Network. Dr. Walls’ experiences as a team manager and student athletic trainer in both high school and college, as well as time she was able to spend shadowing sports medicine physicians and orthopedic surgeons, are what led her to pursue a career in sports medicine. As the team physician for Roncalli High School, she looks forward to fostering a culture of wellness for all of the student-athletes. She is excited to form new partnerships with the athletic training staff, the coaching staff, and the athletic administration, all in an effort to provide the best care possible for the athletes. Dr. Walls focuses on administering a patient centered, holistic approach to practicing medicine and takes pride in being well-versed in both primary and musculoskeletal care. Outside of her clinic practice, she serves on the Sports Medicine Advisory Committee for the Indiana High School Athletic Association. Dr. Walls is also the physician member on the Indiana Athletic Trainers Licensing Board. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active, reading, camping, and spending time with her German Shepherds (she has 3!).
Dr. Andrew Wohler takes a patient-centered approach to care in which the individual demands of each patient – their job, activities and hobbies – are taken into account when developing a treatment plan for their injury. While he was first introduced to the field of orthopedics after suffering an injury as a college athlete, Dr. Wohler’s desire to become an orthopedic surgeon was cemented during his third year of medical school when he saw the impact orthopedic surgeons could have on the lives on their patients. Today, Dr. Wohler enjoys the variety of cases and levels of complexity he sees as an orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon. One of the best parts of his job is being able to help restore a patient’s quality of life and function.
