2026 Boys Soccer Schedule

Varsity boys soccer opened the season with a 3-1 win against University. Goals: Connor Reilly(2) and Luke Harlow. Assists Gabe Nuñez, Paul Thang and Manny Torres. Second half shutout Eli Rettig.

Varsity boys soccer defeated Franklin Central 3-2. Goals: Tommy Gantner (2), Manny Torres. Assists: Hrang Thang (2), Manny Torres, Connor Reilly. The Royals had control of the game throughout, however things got a bit hectic in the final few minutes when FC scored making it 3-2 with less than 4 min left in the game.

Varsity boys soccer ended their match against Southport 0-0.  Great quality match in which the Royals took more control of the run of play in the second half, but were unfortunately unable to get the ball into the net. Eli Rettig kept a clean sheet and with that the team’s first shut-out of the season.

1-1 after regulation. Goal scored by Manny Torres. Brebeuf Jesuit tied the score with less than 8 min left on the clock, then beat the Royals on PKs (tie-breaker for conference).

The Royals took a very early lead on a goal by Manny Torres just 3 minutes into the game. It turned into a very physical battle and Park Tudor managed to score the equalizer with about 20 minutes left on the clock, resulting in a draw which is a fair reflection of the game overall.

Varsity boys soccer vs Perry Meridian ended in a 2-2 tie. The Royals were down 0-2 with 12 minutes left to play in the game, but the resilience demonstrated by our players in those final moments of the game was admirable! Paul Thang made it 1-2 with a very composed finish off a rebound with 7 minutes to go, and with 40 seconds before the final whistle Luke Harlow curved the ball from distance through and around everyone into the goal to make it an even 2-2 at the end.

The varsity Royals took a commanding 2-0 lead in the first half with goals scored by Manny Torres (assisted by Gabe Nuñez) and Amari Kollison-Dubie (assist Manny Torres). However, Brownsburg made it 2-1 just minutes into the second half and equalized about 20 minutes later. With just 8 minutes left to play Connor Reilly scored the game winner with a header off a corner kick by Luke Harlow.

The Royals played very well in a tough battle against the Class 2A defending State Champions and current 2A #1 ranked Guerin Catholic, but unfortunately gave up a goal in the final 90 seconds of the game losing 1-0.

Boys varsity soccer defeated Bishop Chatard 2-0. Goals by Tommy Gantner (assist Hrang Thang) and Amari Kollison-Dubie (assist Tommy Gantner). Shutout for GK Eli Rettig and our defensive efforts.

JV boys soccer defeated University 7-1. Goals: Finn Albers(3), Nolan Merkel(2), Van Cin and Colin Riddle. Assists: Colin Riddle(2) and Vincent Lalrinpui. First half shutout Leo Rangel.

JV boys soccer lost a close one 2-1 against Franklin Central. Mac Kramer scored for the Royals, assisted by Sebastian Deveau, with plenty of time left to play, but despite a valiant effort in the final stretch the boys were not able to find the equalizer

The JV boys soccer team was tied 0-0 at the half against Brebeuf Jesuit. Brebeuf took a 1-0 lead fairly late in the game, but the Royals found the resilience to equalize with a goal by Nolan Merkel assisted by Finn Albers.

The JV boys had the upper hand in scoring opportunities throughout the game, but it wasn’t until deep into the second half that Nolan Merkel finally broke open the score for the Royals. Unfortunately, merely a few minutes later Park Tudor scored the equalizer, resulting in a 1-1 draw.

JV boys soccer lost 1-0 against Perry Meridian. Due to the heat only one half was played. Perry scored early and the Royals were unable to get a goal of their own.

No goals in this one and two Roncalli goalkeepers shared the shutout: Nolan Merkel kept a clean sheet in the first half and Sebastian Deveau in the second.

Guerin Catholic scored a goal in each half of the JV game before the Royals caught some momentum late in the game resulting in a PK earned by Finn Albers and converted by Brandon Gomez. It wasn’t enough for the Royals, ultimately losing 2-1.

The Royals dominated possession, but were unable to create many scoring opportunities, beating Bishop Chatard 1-0. The game winning goal came from a PK that was earned by Finn Albers and converted by Brandon Gomez early in the second half.

JrJV boys soccer tied Lawrence Central 1-1. Lawrence Central struck first and only 6 min into the game, but Amos Thang equalized before half time, assisted by Evan Stark.

The boys JrJV team tied Center Grove,1-1. Goal scored by Amos Thang.

First win of the season for the Royals, beating Lawrence North 1-0! In a hard fought battle Michael Muang was able to make the difference with the game winning goal, assisted by Cot Sanchez-Llibre Juan, late in the game. Goalkeeper Luke Dozier kept a clean sheet and got the shutout for the team.
