2025 Girls Tennis Schedule

In tough conditions, the girls tennis team lost 3-2 to Greenwood.
Winning for Roncalli:
#1 Doubles Evie Eble and Lola Neitzke
# 2 Doubles Sammie Kegerreis and Ava Maled

The girls tennis team lost 5-0 against a strong Center Grove squad. Lola Neitzke and Sammie Kegerreis battled at #1 varsity doubles, while Faith Lowry competed well at JV singles. Brooklyn Seibert and Josie Harper came away with a JV doubles victory.

The team competed well, however lost to an experienced New Palestine team 4-1. Highlights included two three set matches with a three set win at number two doubles for Ava Maled and Ashley Woodburn.

Girls Tennis fell 5-0 to 7th ranked Brebeuf. The girls showed great effort highlighted by Ava Maled and Sammie Kegerreis at #1 Doubles.

The Lady Royals fell 4-1 to Heritage Christian in conference play. Evie Eble competed well in a tough three set match at #1 singles. Ava Maled and Sammie Kegerreis won 6-2, 6-0 at #1 doubles.

Carly Baugh had a nice win at JV #1 singles while Lorelei Roberts and Kaylin Birge got a win in JV doubles.

Girls tennis competed well but dropped their match to an experienced Perry group 5-0. Carly Baugh won her JV match.

The Lady Royals picked up a 4-1 victory over Lutheran. Lola Neitzke, Sammie Kegerreis, and Ava Maled all picked up varsity singles wins while Delanie Oskay & Jolie Goss won in doubles.

JV doubles won 5 matches. Winning teams were:

Girls tennis went 1-2 over the weekend, losing 4-1 to University and Whiteland while defeating International 3-2 at the Whiteland Invite. Those winning on the day for varsity included Faith Lowry, Ashley Woodburn, Lola Neitzke, Evie Eble, and Lily Bauman. JV also competed throughout the day, playing very well winning 17 individual matches. Those winning for JV included Josie Harper, Lorelei Roberts, Carly Baugh, Ava Price, Emma Ley, Brooke Coffman, and Eva Miller.

Girls tennis fell 4-1 to Cathedral on Senior Night. Lola Neitzke’s performance at #1 singles was a highlight of the night with her winning a marathon match in three sets.
Faith Lowry won at #1 JV singles.

Varsity Lady Royals tennis lost to Franklin Central 4-1. Ashley Woodburn won at #2 singles and Ava Maled and Betsy Bauman played a tough 3 set match at #2 doubles.

The team competed well vs two more state ranked teams in Terre Haute South and Franklin Community. Lola Neitzke, Ashley Woodburn, Lily Bauman, Evie Eble, Sammie Kegerreis, Ava Maled, Betsy Bauman, and Faith Lowry competed with Lowry picking up two wins at JV.

The Lady Royals lost 4-1 to Warren Central in the opening round of the Marion County Tournament. Evie Eble and Sammie Kegerreis won their match at #1 doubles for the Royals.

The Lady Royals defeated Edinburgh 5-0.
Singles winners were: Lola Neitzke, Ashley Woodburn and Lily Bauman.
Doubles winners were: Sammie Kegerreis & Evie Eble and Ava Maled & Betsy Bauman.
JV winner: Faith Lowry

Tennis defeated Southport 3-2 in an exciting match. Picking up wins were Lily Bauman in 3 sets at #3 singles to clinch the match, Evie Eble and Sammie Kegerreis at #1 doubles, and Ava Maled and Betsy Bauman at #2 doubles. JV swept Southport with Faith Lowry and Jolie Goss picking up singles wins and Delanie Oskay and Carly Baugh and Brooklyn Seibert and Josie Harper picking up doubles wins.

Tennis won their third match in a row, 4-1. Those winning for the Royals included Lola Neitzke and Faith Lowry at singles and Sammie Kegerreis, Ava Maled, Lily Bauman, and Betsy Bauman at doubles. JV won 3-0 with Carly Baugh and Brooklyn Seibert picking up singles wins and Jolie Goss and Delanie Oskay picking up a doubles win.

JV had a great day of tennis with everyone picking up a win at the tournament, finishing off the day with a victory over Mooresville. Winning on the day for JV were Delanie Oskay, Jolie Goss, Carly Baugh, Brooklyn Seibert, Josie Harper, Ava Price, Emma Ley, Brooke Coffman, Lorelei Roberts, Eva Miller, and Kaylin Birge.

Girls tennis defeated Southport 3-2 for their fourth win in a row and will play Perry in the Sectional final. Winning for the Royals were Lily Bauman at singles and Evie Eble-Sammie Kegerreis and Ava Maled-Betsy Bauman at doubles.

Varsity tennis competed well in the Sectional Champion against Perry Meridian, however lost 4-1.  Winning at #1 Doubles and advancing in the state doubles tournament were Evie Eble and Sammie Kegerreis.

Evie Eble & Sammie Kegerreis defeated Decatur Central in three sets (6-3, 4-6, 6-1) to advance to the second round of doubles sectionals in the state doubles tournament.

Sammie Kegerreis and Evie Eble continued their win streak with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Southwestern.  They now advance to the Doubles Sectional Championship match in the state doubles tournament 5pm tonight vs Franklin Community @ Center Grove.

Evie Eble and Sammie Kegerreis battled hard but came up short (3-6, 1-6) against state ranked Franklin Community in the Sectional Championship match of the state doubles tournament.
