The Boys Track and Field team opened their season in electric fashion last night, headlined by two indoor school records.
The 4X800m relay team of Owen Lewis, Anthony Litz, Jim Buchmeier and Sam Vaught set a new indoor school record and #3 best time in school history.
The 4X400m relay of Cole Huff, Litz, Lewis and Vaught also set a new indoor school record.
Dom Nelson tied his PR in the shot to place 6th.
Jacob Johnson set a huge PR in long jump to place 6th.
The 4X200m relay of Alex Beard, Liam Kidwell, Jacob Johnson and Alex Toth ran the second fastest ever indoor time to place 6th.
Beard set a PR in the 60m to place 8th.

The boys track and field team continued their strong start to the season competing with 18 other teams at the Red Devil Classic hosted by Pike High School.
Sam Vaught won the 3200m
The 4X800m relay placed 3rd (Owen Lewis, Jim Buchmeier, Cole Huff, Will Lewis)
The Distance Medley Relay placed 3rd (Owen Lewis, Ben Swiezy, Jim Buchmeier, Will Lewis)
The 4X200m placed 6th (Alex Beard, Liam Kidwell, Jacob Johnson, Alex Toth)
TJ Michalak PR’d to place 7th in the shot, his throw is the #8 throw in school history

The Boys Track and Field team wrapped up the indoor portion of their season with a very impressive performance.
Leading the way was the distance medley relay team placing 3rd -Owen Lewis, Cole Huff, Anthony Litz, Will Lewis.
The 4X400m relay placed 6th- Ben Swiezy, Jim Buchmeier, Dylan Guthrie, Sam Smith.

The 4X200 placed 8th-Alex Beard, Liam Kidwell, Jacob Johnson and Alex Toth
Next up for the guys: Sam Vaught competing this Sunday in the mile at the Indoor National Championship in Boston. The team also has two relays qualified for the Indoor State Championship over Spring Break: 4X400m (Lewis, Litz, Huff and Vaught) and the 4X800m (Lewis, Litz, Buchmeier, Vaught).

The Boys Track and Field Team had a fantastic showing at the HSR Indoor State Championship meet.
Both the 4X400m and 4X800m relays earned All State Status.
The 4X400m relay broke a 50 year old school record that has been in place since 1975!!! The team of Cole Huff, Anthony Litz, Owen Lewis and Sam Vaught ran 3:23.73 to place 8th.
The 4X800m relay ran a new indoor school record and #2 all time. The team of Owen Lewis, Anthony Litz, Jim Buchmeier and Sam Vaught ran a time of 7:59.34 to place 7th.

The Boys Track and Field team opened their outdoor season with some impressive early performances defeating Eastern Hancock 88-42.
The Royals won all but 4 events on the night and recorded 43 PRs.

The Boys Track and Field team had a strong performance at the Marion Relays.
The 4X800m relay team of Owen Lewis, Anthony Litz, Jim Buchmeier and Sam Vaught ran the 4th fastest time in the state to place 1st, breaking a meet record that stood since 1984.
The 4X400m relay of Lewis, Litz, Vaught and Dylan Guthrie ran the 2nd fastest time in the state to place 2nd.
Anthony Litz also placed 3rd in the 110HH
The 4X100m relay placed 3rd of Alex Beard, Ben Swiezy, Cole Huff and Alex Toth

The Freshmen boys track and field team wrapped up their season at the Marion County Championships. Everyone that competed in the meet set a new PR on the season led by Chris Jerry 5th in the 1600m and 5th in the 800m and Luke Senac 7th in the 1600m and 7th in the 800m.

4X800m relay Anthony Litz, Owen Lewis, Will Lewis, Sam Vaught set a new school record and qualified for the State Championship.
Sam Vaught set a new school record in the 800m and qualified for the State Championship.
Anthony Litz ran the 2nd fastest 300IH in school history and qualified for the State Championship.
Alex Beard ran the 2nd fastest 200m time in school history and qualified for the State Championship.
