2025 Boys Soccer Schedule

Varsity boys soccer lost 1-0 to Center Grove with a high energy, very passionate battle. Center Grove scored 15 min into the game and our boys fought hard the rest of the game to get the equalizer.

Varsity boys soccer beat Franklin Central 2-1. Roncalli goals were scored by Jonny Harlow on a penalty kick and Cole Huff. Corbin Sejas made a few crucial saves at goal.

Varsity boys soccer lost to Southport 2-1. Southport took a 1 goal lead into half time, however the Royals fought back hard in the second half, creating various good scoring opportunities and eventually getting the equalizer with about 14 min left to play. Senior Sam Purdy whipped in a low free kick and sophomore Manny Torres redirected the ball into the net.

Varsity boys soccer gets the win over Brebeuf Jesuit 2-1. Cole Huff scored on a low drive from about 25 yards out. In the penalty kick shoot-out all six Roncalli kickers converted their PKs (Cole Huff, Owen Williams, Jonny Harlow, Sam Purdy, Erick Sanchez and Connor Reilly), while senior GK Corbin Sejas saved the final Brebeuf Jesuit penalty kick for the win!

Varsity boys soccer won 5-1 against Perry Meridian. First half goals scored by Jonny Harlow x 2 (assist Cole Huff) and Anthony Litz (assist Jonny Harlow) in the first half. Second half goals by Cole Huff and Erick Sanchez assisted by Cole Huff.

Varsity soccer defeated University High School 4-1. University took an early lead, then Manny Torres scored to tie it up. Paul Thang added the second goal (assist Manny Torres). Torres and Ben Woodruff rounded out the scoring for the big win!

The Royals went toe to toe with 3A #5 ranked Brownsburg Bulldogs, ultimately falling 1-0.

Varsity tied Guerin Catholic 0-0 in regulation, and lost in PKs. Cole Huff, Sam Purdy and Connor Reilly scored their penalty kicks. Corbin Sejas made one save.

Varsity boys soccer beat Bishop Chatard 7-1. The Royals started with a fury and scored their first goal after just 28 sec (Paul Thang, assisted by Manny Torres) and 4 goals in the first 16 min of the game, then added one just before half time and two more in the second half. Jonny Harlow completed a hattrick in the first half and added one more in the second half. Sam Purdy had one goal in each half. Cole Huff had 5 assists on the night.

JV boys soccer lost 2-1 to Center Grove. Sophomore forward Will Christie got a goal back for Roncalli, but that was as close as the Royals could get.

JV boys soccer had a competitive game against Franklin Central. The Royals gave up a goal in each half with the final score being 2-0.

A tale of two halves in which Southport completely dominated the first half, while Roncalli fought back hard in the second half, ultimately falling 3-1. Gabe Nuñez first had a goal disallowed due to offside, but late in the game he found the net again for the only goal of the second half.

A late goal by Brebeuf Jesuit was the only goal of the game, JV boys soccer took a loss 1-0.

JV won 2-0 against Perry Meridian. Goals by Gabriel Nuñez (assist Ben Woodruff) and Will Christie (assist Marcus Schneider).

The JV boys soccer lost 5-1 to Brownsburg. Gabriel Nuñez scored the lone goal for the Royals off a free kick late in the game.

JV defeated Bishop Chatard 7-1. Goals on the night: Mario Torres (2), David Megregian (2), Luke Harlow, Tommy Gantner and Harrison Costley. Assists(one each): Ben Levine, Peter Sang and Mario Torres.

The JrJV Royals defeated Lawrence Central 5-2. First goal from Yahir Gonzalez, assisted by Vaan Thang. Before half time Roncalli scored three more goals from Carter Bohn, Brandon Gomez (PK, earned by Vaan Thang) and Nolan Merkel (assist Brandon Gomez). In the second half Vaan Thang converted another PK.

The JrJV boys soccer team beat Bishop Chatard 4-1. Two goals each by Nolan Merkel and Yahir Gonzalez, and assists from Brandon Gomez, Hayes Boyer and Vaan Thang.

JrJV boys soccer lost 4-0.

Roncalli took charge and led early against Bloomington South with a goal scored by Vaan Thang. Bloomington South equalized the game before the half. Both teams had scoring opportunities in the second half, however the game ended in a tie 1-1. Caiden Schweers kept a clean sheet in the second half at the goal.

JrJV boys soccer lost to Lawrence North 2-1. Mario Torres, assisted by Nolan Merkel, scored the equalizing 1-1 right before half time, but LN determined the final score just minutes into the second half.
