2025 Boys Cross Country Schedule

The boys opened their season with a 3rd place finish at the HSE Hokum Karem. The teams of Will Lewis and Thomas Mallers placed 9th and Chris Jerry and Owen Lewis placed 10th. Will Lewis led the varsity group with an average of 5:06 for the 3 repeat miles. Eleven freshmen made their high school debuts. Isaias Hawkins averaged an outstanding 5:56 average in the varsity race. Sam Perkins was our top finisher in the JV race with a time of 12:52 over 2 miles.

The Royals were led by Junior Will Lewis posting a strong 13:10 time over 4k to finish 20th in the Junior/Senior race. Chris Jerry led the Royals in the Fr/Soph race with a time of 14:05. Jim Buchmeier, Owen Lewis, Luke Senac and Sam Cochran also contributed strong races. The Royals placed 10th of 23 teams in the overall scoring.

The boys finished 6th as a team. Junior Will Lewis ran the 7th fastest time in school history (#2 junior all-time) to finish 13th in 16:16. Thomas Mallers, Chris Jerry, Luke Senac and Sam Cochran all set PR’s in the varsity race. Junior Zeke Littell led the JV team with a new PR of 18:43. Cliff Lamarca, Trent Lamarca and Emmett Burkhardt also set personal bests with strong efforts. Sammy Perkins and Ollie Koehler led the freshman team to a 6th place finish.

The boys defeated Southport 18-44 in a Senior Night 4k dual. Will Lewis won his first cross country race in a time of 13:48. Owen Lewis finished 2nd with Chris Jerry, Luke Senac and Sam Cochran rounding out our top 5.

The boys placed 4th in the 9 team field. Junior Will Lewis WON the race with a new PR of 16:12.6. Owen Lewis placed 7th with Chris Jerry 16th and Jim Buchmeier 18th. Twelve runners set new PR’s and freshman Isais Hawkins and Xavier Eble were outstanding in their 5k debut.

The boys team finished 2nd in the 18 team Gold Division of the Shelbyville Invite (5th overall of 26 teams). Will Lewis led the team with a strong 11th place finish. Personal best from 8 runners, including Chris Jerry, Zeke Littell, Emmett Burkhardt, Xavier Eble, Parker Cipich, Nate Vilches, Joey McCoy and Cohan O’Connor. The JV squad placed 7th of 12 teams.

The Boys team finished 4th, led by Will Lewis finishing in 3rd place. Great races today for Chris Jerry, Zeke Littell, Emmett Burkhardt, Sam Perkins, Cliff Lamarca and Nate Vilches.
